While there’s no denying that Disney vacations are magical experiences, they’re also pricey ones. “Land Ho,” a crew member yelled. I looked over the edge of the ship Satisfaction and squinted to see the tiny glimpse of land in the distance. Tomorrow we would set off on our journey to raid Panama, said to be the richest city in the western hemisphere. I closed my eyes that evening, knowing it would be my last good night’s rest for a while.

Like many readers, I just love DK Eyewitness travel guides. They are the travel guide for the intelligent traveler - with fantastic illustrations and photos. And lucky me! I was sent a copy of DK Eyewitness Travel: London 2014 to review. Oh, what a pleasure this is.
I started the organization, Advice to My Thirteen-Year-Old Self (The Advice Project), to support the empowerment and education of teen girls through a series of workshops and classes for teen girls at schools and community centers in New York City.
Summer finaly got to northern Norway. And it will continue!
